What is Grenada Community Foundation?

We connect donors who care with causes that matter. We are a catalyst for positive change, as big and strong as You, the Community,  make us. We have big dreams, but need your help. Join us, and bring your time, talent, or treasure — or all three. To learn more, email team members Deborah Bailey or Sabrina Howell.

Grenada Downtown Innovation District

Grenada’s Downtown, the emotional heart of our city, has been deteriorating for decades, like so many others. In the last 5 years, however, buildings have been purchased and renovated, new businesses have begun to arrive, new restaurants to open, and new residential housing options to be offered. Our Downtown Innovation District Steering Committee is proud to have played a significant role in these achievements, building on Grenada’s rich history, lovely buildings, and unique assets taking on new life.

The Grenada Downtown Historic
District is full of unique assets...
historic houses, places, the town
square, parks, abundant upper level apartment potential, the depot,
low income housing. It needs investment and imagination.

Mississippi Development Authority

Offering the highest quality products, we are connecting local farmers, consumers, and the community while providing support for agriculture, the number one industry in the state. We are proud to be among the few markets in Mississippi certified by the USDA.

Upcoming events.

We are reimagining our county and downtown as the place where the arts, technology, and entrepreneurial businesses can flourish. From restaurant specials and health fairs, to live music and art exhibitions, you can find more things to do in Grenada at ExperienceGrenadaMississippi.com or in our monthly calendar.

New Downtown Businesses

We are thrilled to welcome a wonderful mix of new businesses to the Square, including retail shops, professional services, and our very own coffee shop joining the event venues, lodging opportunities, grocery, salons, and existing professional businesses. They invite you to visit, and stay awhile.
